About us

Who we are

What began as a small group of girls has evolved into a diverse and united community, made up of people from different nationalities, backgrounds, and personalities. They all discovered a common interest: the well-being of dogs. With the support of the La Oliva Town Hall, with whom we have collaborated since mid-2012, we made the decision to form an Association to strengthen our joint work.

In our association, we are dedicated to helping abandoned and mistreated dogs in the municipality of La Oliva. Our team is composed of volunteers who dedicate their free time to various tasks. We take care of cleaning, dog care, transportation to veterinarians and airports, adoption management, and contact with foster homes and adopters. Although we do not have our own land for dog collection, we maintain a close collaboration with the municipal dog pound of the La Oliva Town Hall.

Throughout our journey, we have succeeded in finding new homes for most of the dogs we have cared for. Our main mission is to educate the next generations about responsible pet ownership and reduce the number of unwanted litters and abandonment cases. Additionally, we strive to provide physical and psychological assistance to any dog that has suffered mistreatment or abandonment.

We strive to:

  • Identify animals with microchips, raise awareness, and educate owners for responsible ownership.
  • Increase the number of animal outings from the center through walks, promote adoptions and fostering, and return lost animals to their owners.
  • Provide, while the animals are in the dog pound, well-being beyond food and healthcare.
